Worst bakery I've ever been too. My friend had her wedding cake done here and it was awful. First of all it was the wrong color, looked nothing like we asked for and to top it all off it was leaning and sinking in. Like if they had just baked it the day of and tried to pull it off. We contacted them and they gave us a $50 refund for a $325 messed up wedding cake. Like that makes everything better. This place is HORRIBLE!! the decor of the cake was fine but the cake tasted discusting. We ordered a cake for fathers day/ Birthday so we had a few guests, we were all very excited to try the cake, but when we cut the cake it smelt sour and when we took a bite it tasted even worse! I called to complain to mananager and she told me the owner would be calling me in a few days.... its been 2 weeks and still no phone call. My friends, family and I will NEVER order from them again!
There's NO other place I go to get cakes! Aunt Norie's is the best! Each time I pick one up, they are friendly, the cake is super moist and the designs are incredible! From a simple birthday to my wedding cake, I've used Aunt Nories for every cake need and will always refer them to others!!! No need to waste your time anywhere else. You WILL be the talk of the party with the cakes Aunt Norie's makes!
We have used Aunt Norie's for two of my granddaughter's birthday cakes and both were outstanding. They were made exactly to my specifications and were ready and waiting for me but more importantly FRESHLY made. Their staff couldn't have been more helpful and took great pains to return the special cake pan I had brought in for one of the cakes. I will be ordering my sister's birthday cake from them this week. Try this bakery. Their regular counter cookies can't be found anywhere else in Lubbock.
I CALLED FOR A MINI WEDDING CAKE FOR MY DAUGHTERS BIRTHDAY AND SHE SAID IT WOULD BE ABOUT 250 WITHE THE FONDANT ICING. SO I ASKED FOR A TWO LAYER CAKE AND SHE SAID IT WOULD BE $75 AND $80 WITH THE FONDANT ICING! I WAS SO EXCITED! THE DAY I WENT TO PICK UP MY CAKE IT WAS REGULAR ICING! I WAS UPSET AND THE MANAGER WAS NOT THERE THE SALES GIRL CALLED HER AND SHE CLAMMED SHE TOLD ME IT WOULD BE 250 WITH THE FONDANT ICING! BUT THATS NOT WHAT SHE TOLD ME.
