My 83yo father had fallen and broke his hip beginning of March. After his initial stay at a rehab facility, we had chosen Aunt Dottie’s Place for a board and care facility. He was there 2 months. He was treated like family by Abraham, John and Lisa. They were very attentive to my father’s needs. The food was delicious. The staff was there every step of therapy in the goal of my father going home. He is back home but still misses everyone at Aunt Dottie’s.
I had my mom in a larger memory care but realized she needed more attention than the larger memory care could offer. They have no more than 6 tenants and the care is definitely more tailored to suit the individual needs of each individual. Mom isn’t getting lost in the larger memory care. If she refuses to eat or to take her meds, the caregivers are very patient and they try again. Dementia is a cruel disease. Salam and the team at Aunt Dottie’s are very respectful and professional. They have treated my mother will care since she arrived and have given me peace in knowing she is safe. As she has late stage dementia, this matter is extreme important to our family, and we are grateful for Aunt Dottie’s care.
My grandparents have been so well taken care of, treated like family at Aunt Dottie’s. The staff are so attentive and AMAZING people!
