Doctor pushing hi dose medication hasn't done any test yet lady out front thinks she's the doctor my wife wants to talk to Dr Aumentado about a problem with the medication he's to busy
Office staff of one thinks she is a physician. She needs an injection of personality. Scheduled a needle EMG but didn't tell me i would have to stop my blood thinners before hand and so I couldn't have the correct test done. I have been to Dr Aumentado twice in 20 years for different problems just to be told nothing can be done for your pinched nerve/bulging discs.
This doctor and his staff are wonderful - he took his time reviewing my history and didn't just drug me up. Do I still have migraines, yes but so many less and now have a rescue medication that actually helps without knocking me unconscious so I am not out of work constantly. I can get rid of a headache within an hour or so... instead of several days of blinding pain, blurred vision and vomiting. Dr is nice but his front office staff are rude and unhelpful.
I used Dr. Aumentado’s office for the prescriptions I already knew I needed when I’d started visiting. New prescriptions he wrote for me usually weren’t covered by my insurance, even when I would request he just off-the-bat prescribe me the generic drug, knowing it wouldn’t be covered by my carrier. He’d give me a bunch of samples: AKA not what I asked for. Please just prescribe me a working drug that my insurance covers. Finally: the office looks like it was decorated with goodwill rejects.
I found Dr Aumentado very knowledgeable and a great listener. His office staff are horrific. We no longer see the doctor because of his office staff's rudeness.
Sent for independent medical exam by City of Providence. Incomplete answers provided to city. When asked for clarification Dr. changed original findings for ease of questionnaire completion, approved a severely injured firefighter to resume full duty. Very dangerous situation.
