Denied my mother's referral due to her being a current smoker despite that she had quit. She was released from the hospital with needs for sub acute rehab because she couldn't walk more than 4 feet to the bedside commode. Yet they are worried she will step outside during a MN winter for a cigarette! When they failed to update on the status as they said they would I called to find out she again was denied because her Medicare advantage plan won't cover rehab. BS it's the law. Terrible nursing home. Prides itself in quality and community care, treating our loved ones like family is the complete opposite of what this nursing home offers. Very neglectful of their residents, and just an overall horrible experience here. This is the last nursing home I would place my loved ones in. Shameful
Everyone at this facility really cares about the people who live there. My mom moved in at the end of October after losing her husband. They are so kind and understanding! Mom has an amazing 2 bedroom apartment overlooking Spring Lake. Even with covid19 going on everywhere the move and transition has gone really well. They keep family well informed and are very patient. I have heard horror stories about how people are being kept in their rooms for months because of covid19. Definitely NOT the case here! Happy and healthy!
