Wow what a five star experience I have had with Augusta Training Shop INC, as they have restored several valued family furniture pieces for me so far. I have a great deal of trust of all the staff to handle these valued pieces, and that they provide a fair price. The volunteers have great restoration skills and the management coordinates everything, including providing updates on the status of your project they are completing. I’m very satisfied with the results of the table refurbished at the shop. The friendliness of the hard-working staff reveals LOVE in their lovely products. I am a satisfied customer.
The best shop! Love supporting local- great place to find unique gifts. Provides a sense of purpose and community to the artisans.
MASSIVELY over-priced. The cost of partially refinishing a plain wooden trunk (35"×19") and a small (49"×35"), very plain chest of drawers was $945. I, also, received a quote from Devan for painting an unfinished Amish trash bin for ovet $400. Other local professional shops gave estimates of $80 to $95. I like to support good causes and am willing to pay somewhat more to do so. However, being charged fairly / ethically is, also, important. The feeling of being taken advantage of is not a good one.
I need a tour today. Augusta training shop. And I turned in my application. I think this place is discriminating me because of my weight. I'm 470 and I have disabilities. I have a mental disability. They do not care at all they said I can do the art and when I talk to Daven today she said that do not need people and she was laughing about my weight i just call about the job this is a big joke i want this place close for good seen u do not want to help someone with disability
