My daughter goes to college in Lexington and she has been experiencing pretty much every symptom in the book for Hashimoto’s thyroiditis. She got a referral from her GP that said her levels were normal and this Endocrinology group refused to make her an appointment. She received care at the college and her levels had doubled in less than three months into overt hypothyroidism. The school changed her medication. These people do not care especially if you’re a young person and far from home. When people need help, help them!
I have been seeing Dr.Hutchens for almost 10 years. She is my rock. Supports any ideas I may have, always responds to me with a days time, making sure I have what I need. She is the absolute best. From 16 to almost 26 years old she is the only endocrinologist I have seen and will always see.
