They used to have a good reputation, but lately have become completely uncaring and inept with basic responsibilities like having it anywhere in their system whether I am still authorized to make appointments through my V.A. care in the community contract, or it's expired by now. They used to have such information, and even reach out, and send me reminders to renew, but no more. It's just perfect oblivion now, out of sight, out of mind, one hand not talking to the other. You will end up in the emergency room or dead trying to get care from this practice. Really good at handing out excuses instead of appointments.
Dr. Fox was very thorough with pertinent questions in order to assess my current health status. He listened to my questions and answered them completely. His personality is delightful! I learned important details about my diagnosis and medication. Excellent cardiology appointment! I wish he was staying at Augusta Cardiology!!
Doc is good but you are can't get results or get any questions answered from the office staff. I even requested a call from Office Manager and got no response. They need to up the customer service !! P.S. I take back that doc is good. She gave me completely contradictory info on 2nd visit which I had to have because they wouldn't answer questions via phone. And when I got my records she had documented false info. Saying she listened to my heart when she didn't and other inaccuracies. Have lost all faith in Dr Shewmate. And i... read more
