Don't care for this medical office since Dr Holford retired
Michael Pruitt is awesome- gave me some great attention on my dancers break. Lateral metatarsal. Great guy - felt taken care of.
Walked into the August Aiken Orthopedic facility on University parkway at approximately 10:00 A.M., signed in, and paid copay. I was referred there by my primary care provider, Dr. Thomas McCullough from upstairs. Waited 2 full hours and still was not on the radar to be seen. Asked the receptionist 3 times what the problem was. The room had completely cleared all patients twice. Attempted to make an appointment and that option was not available for "walk-ins". My first appointment with Dr Massie was today at 9am. I was in the back at 8:50m and with the doctor within a few minutes. Dr Massie had already reviewed my MRI and X-rays when he came in. Very friendly, did not rush me and genuinely cared about my visit. I have know for over a year that I needed surgery, but life happened and I put it on the back burner.
