The center is on one of the greatest bird migration routes on the planet and has information on the birds seen in the area while allowing one to linger and informally discuss birding and the environment with people who share their perceptions and their wildlife sightings.

I work for Schnucks, which is a supporter of the Audubon Center. Not a day goes by that I do not tell people about what a great place the Audubon Center is. My husband and I try to make it there at least once a month. Every time we have been we have enjoyed our visit. If you love birding, or love the rivers, this place is a must see.

Every time I visit I learn something new. No trip is the same except for the friendly atmosphere and the beauty to be found there. There is nothing like it in the St. Louis area.

Great place to visit, my first stop when I visit the area from KY during the time the eagles are around as well as lots of other water birds. Been making the trip from Ky for 20+ years. The American White Pelicans are so beautiful when feeding below the dam. Lots of info. available at the center and all there are very helpful with the latest birding info.
