Dr. UKNIS literally saved my life. She provided a referral I asked for from my then, pcp, Dr Das who actually refused to give it to me. I requested a referral for an endocrinologist bc i though i had cushings disease,Dr Das said "there cant be just one diagnosis for all your symptoms ", so she didnt give me one, Luckily I had an up coming appt. A previous reviewer stated that Dr. Uknis' demeanor can be like a rollercoaster--you never know what you're going to get--is a very accurate description. I first started seeing her for RA approximately a year ago, after my orthopedic specialist strongly suggested that I need to see a rheumatologist, based on the kind of pain I was having. In all honesty, Dr. Audrey Uknis does not make you feel comfortable. Her demeanor is like a rollercoaster and you never know how she's going to react from one minute to the next. If it's not something completely simple to Dx. Or treat, she can't handle the high pressure to make or treat an accurate diagnosis. I never wanted to address this when I saw her awhile back, However, I am hearing from numerous people the exact , same treatment that they rece
Did not like the doctor. Was abrasive rude, did not listen. She ignored other specialist doctors and prescribed me medication that I could not take. Would never recommend!!
