I discovered i had pcos since every provider ive been to for pcos symptoms neglected to tell me what it was. Google says to get with your gyno. She did not know what inositol was told me my only options were bc, metformin, and fertility drugs. Metformin in my opinion should not be a first approach, its hard on your organs. We absolutely loved Dr. Mcmacken! She is very smart and has a straightforward style of communication, which we appreciated. She was supposed to be off the day our baby was born (about to take off on a vacation) but she came in to deliver him. We liked the other OB doctors for delivery, but we were happy to have Dr. McMacken since we'd gotten to know her.
I don’t get the bad reviews? Maybe those women are just careless & clueless because Dr. McMacken most definitely isn’t. I love how she doesn’t beat around the bush. She is honest and trustworthy. She has been my OBGYN since moving here in 2014. My first delivery in FL back in 2011 was a nightmare. Second child was born her in ND, perfect delivery, by Dr. McMacken via scheduled c-section. If you care about your unborn child’s safety, avoid this doctor at all cost. Too many woman have been put in bad positions because of pure carelessness by her.
