I had a very weird experience with Dr. Prefer. I had been her patient for about 7 months and over the holiday break went to schedule my annual mammogram. I didn’t have a prescription for a mammogram in the portal, and as I had an appointment with her in January I figured I’d get a prescription for it then, as it was only a couple of weeks away. I called this office in frustration after I could not get through to my provider and had serious concerns. Betty, in the office got back to me on a Friday evening because she didn't want me to worry all weekend. I am so grateful for her kindness and understanding. She explained a lot of things in detail and helped me to understand the situation I was in and what the options normally are. I've been seeing Dr. Prefer for over 18 years. She is caring and non-nonsense, and I've never had to call her office for test results. I think she'd be the perfect doctor for you to take your daughters to see to care for their reproductive health.

I recently had a visit with Dr. Prefer regarding a recommended surgery I was very concerned about. Dr. Prefer was extremely caring about my concerns, took the time to answer all my questions in a very clear and knowledgeable way. Because she knew the surgeon in question, she offered and spoke to him on my behalf as well. She is a long practicing, very experienced doctor, and she clearly cares about her patients. I not only highly recommend her, I wish all doctors were like her. A rare gem these days! Thank you Dr. Prefer
