Jack has 40 years of institutional knowledge and experience which is helpful and often necessary to efficiently diagnose and repair vintage analog tube audio equipment. He’s better than an electrical engineer could be because of his experience repairing such. He’s seen everything. So he knows what’s up. in 1.5 hours of work he diagnosed, ran tests and repaired my 1962 Scott 222C integrated tube amp. He’s fair and eccentric and honest. That’s as good as it gets: he’ll be done when AI takes over—perfect timing indeed.

I have a vintage Scott 299c amplifier that had been poorly repaired by an unscrupulous tech. I did not think it could be saved due to extensive modifications. Jack is an analog electronics wizard, He knew this amp meant a lot to me as it was my dads. He put in the time (much of which he didn't charge) as a personal challenge to straighten out the damage. Now my Scott has never sounded better, rich , detailed and so HIFI. Thanks Jack your the best tech I have ever worked with!

A True Professional I reached out to Jack regarding a Fender amp I picked up for short $$s that needed some work. Not only was Jack extremely knowledgeable and patient with me, he was straightforward and honest and advised me to consider just using it as is. The repair cost would have exceeded my cost of the amp. He suggested a simple tweak that has vastly improved the issue in question Highly recommend Audioteck Services. Take it from someone who rarely gives a 5-star review. ~ Larry Diran

My 1962 Fender Princeton had an intermittent tremolo issue that had been very difficult to pinpoint - it kept baffling multiple different amp techs literally over years of trying to get it repaired. I was on the verge of simply giving up and selling the amp off, but brought it to Audiotech Services for one last try at getting it working right. Jack took the time to catch the issue & isolate its source in the circuit, which required real patience and thoroughness, while communicating where he was throughout the process. The t... read more

Brought my 1965 Fender tube amp to Jack at AudioTech to have it checked out, after the amp had sat in storage, unused, for nearly 40 years. Jack is a pro and the amp now sounds as good as new. Recommend highly, couldn’t be happier.
