Edward has tremendous experience in the audio industry and has carefully curated selected components from a large pool of choices. Recently I had the pleasure of meeting and dealing with Ed, owner of high-end audio store Audio-Ultra in Seattle. I was looking for a specific Ideon dac that they carried. He had one in stock but instead of just quickly selling the unit to me to make a sale Ed took time to find out about my system. Audio Ultra is truly one of the best HiFi boutiques in the country. Ed, the owner, is one of the finest people I know—his attention to detail is on another level. Michael “The Greek,” who is part of the team, is also outstanding. If you’re looking for high-quality HiFi equipment, this is absolutely the place to go.
I recently purchased a Wadax Studio Player from Ed. He is a great person to deal with, very knowledgable and true to his word. The Studio Player arrived when Ed said it would, and communication along the way from placing the order to delivery was first class. Ed is a very approachable, low-key individual with lots of experience and a willingness to share his knowledge. He was not pushy or the typical salesperson. I feel he is genuinely seeking to help his customers find the answers to their audio questions. I don’t do online reviews but my experience with Audio-Ultra warrants the highest rating.
