As a Brit in CT I had to check this out. Friendly staff and the Yorkshire puddings are as good as your nan cooks home made in the UK! Proper English tea too.
What a great addition to Manchester! We have been here a few times now and always walk away satisfied with both the food and service. The scotch egg is a must have! They also have delicious cottage pie, fish and chips, and burgers. They have great specials as well. Servers are friendly and welcoming, especially Pam who has waited on us a few times. We will of course return!
After hearing so many amazing things about this place I finally got to take the eats.. I have yet to get to the pub itself but they were one of the vendors at the peach festival this year and on my way out I had to stop. I got the Irish banger and some crisps and OMG FAT GUY APPROVED!!!! There were 2 very friendly outgoing young ladies manning the booth and another gentleman was standing by that I had the pleasure of telling him how amazing the food is. Great food and service. Always a good vibe down at the pub. They often have amazing rotating special dishes and everything on tap is fresh and delicious. Great for a quick round or a full meal! I recommend the Cooper sandwich and the Bella portabella 'burger' personally. But everything I and my partner have tried so far has been excellent. One of our go-to's for happy hour 'date nights' and will continue to be for some time!
