If you would like a caring involved facility then your looking at the wrong facility here. They claim to be a safe place for your loved ones although the back door is unlocked. I have family members who entered the back door at various hours of the day and evening at which several times the nurses werent even insight.They have very poor communication skills with the family. I wouldn't take my dying pet to this place! Staff is ok, but management is the worst! They are demeaning and treat you horribly. This place is the worst!
My dad was in this place for a couple of months and he was put in here for uti, from the hospital. He ended up with bedsores, dehydration, losing a lot of weight. He used to weight 196 ended up weighing 136 for a 6'2 man. There were other medical issues, and I had to have the medical staff tend to him each time. I had him sent to ER for these reasons. As a result he passed in less than a week. Sad daughter.
My mother was a Resident of Auburndale Oaks for a few months. The staff was the most careing bunch I had ever seen. They didn't treat her like a patient but like tha of a loving family member. I just can't say enough for those hard working souls.
