I stopped using WIC even though I desperately needed it for my daughter because my worker got my cell phone number and started texting me privately. He started with wanting to meet up with me to "talk more about my life experiences" and it progressed from there. This health department is a joke. Not even worth a star. Been going to this health department for over 2 years then all of a sudden this year i couldn't cause I supposably had health insurance since 2023 never paid a dime for this suppose insurance and even when I call the suppose insurance, they don't know anything about me and nobody else. Hospitals, urgent cares specialty clinics, can't find where i have this insurance but auburndale health department, so I assuming they're the ones fronting the bill for it. But it's all ... read more
