Sure, pump $1.5 million into the child care program that already takes up 90% of the YMCA funds. Meanwhile the saunas, steam rooms, pools, locker facilities, gyms and restrooms are ancient, consistently out of order, and so out of date that your safety is actually at risk in some parts. Apparently they are just a daycare now.
So Happy to have a place for us Pickleball players to play during bad weather!!
The Auburn YMCA has always been like a second home. From my early days swimming on the stingrays swim team, their multitudes of after school activity programs and their day camp for children with disabilities during the summer s makes the Auburn YMCA a Civic icon within the Auburn community.
