Honestly, one of the most frustrating and unacceptable experiences I’ve ever had at a hospital. I waited 7 and a half hours in the Emergency Department, literally sitting right in front of reception, only to be told that my appointment had been cancelled in the middle of the night because the receptionist apparently thought I had left. Absolutely disgusting experience at Auburn Hospital Emergency Department. I waited around 7 hours just to be seen by a GP, which is completely unacceptable for an emergency department. The reception staff were also extremely rude and unhelpful. The attitude and communication were very poor, and there was no sense that patients were being treated with basic respect or consideration.
