How much would it cost to have an ATM type machine like many cities have? You scan the bill and pay. It seems like it would save the city hundreds of thousands of dollars.
9 people and no one is working. You have to get stacked up in that little room or outside because they are too lazy to let more than one person in at a time. If the municipality bought a machine like other cities have, it's set up like an ATM. You scan that code on the bill and then pay it. It spits out a receipt. You would need ONE person to do the books, and the city would not have to pay overtime, insurance, or anything and it would be available 24/7.
I'm doing two stars because everyone has been super friendly and I do like the staff, but everything has been kind of a nightmare so far. I signed up for utilities three weeks before moving into our home in late November. I got a call an hour before they closed on the day we moved in because they never got the letter of creditworthiness from our former electric company, so I owed a $500 deposit for them to turn our utilities on.
