I took at set of heads to Auburn auto machine to get check out (meg flucs) Met Mike told him what I'd like to do .This is what I got... I'm real bizzy but I can get them in,i say cool this was beginning of November so he needs payment upfront ok whats the cost 250 for the set thats meged and cleaned .Me not knowing better payed it got receipt heres the kicker after 2 weeks I called the heads are out to get cleaned ? Mike, and his employees are the greatest. The reason his employees are great is because Mike takes care of his employees, and Mike has enough knowledge to be able to show and coach his employees through a process they may be new at. I had a DZ302 motor stolen out of my shop, and through sheer luck found it almost three years later. After i picked it up the next day i dropped it off at AAM. Had Mike build a 1966 396 into a 402 for me. If you have ever been into a 65-67 BBC you know that the rear bearing journal is grooved, as soon as I said to Mike “this is a 66....” he took the words out of my mouth and said “grooved cam” boom, it was done, Mike built my engine.
