Shoutout to Koko~ my stylist who perfectly replicated the dream hair color I got back in Tokyo (cherry brown) what she did was pure magic! 🤪I appreciate the amazing consultation as well as head massage while washing my hair! (I feel alseep that’s how comfortable I was) . I also love their one client and one stylist rule, which ensures the best clientele relationship with the stylists. Great experience at a relatively affordable price, especially for the location. Takuya gave me a wonderful cut! Parking is easy in structures 6 and 7, with the first 90 minutes free.
When I asked to have my hair straightened with a flat iron at the end, he said it would cost $100. At every salon I’ve been to before, they’ve always done the final flat iron for free, so this is the first time in my life I’ve ever been charged for it. My friend told me that when she went to this salon, they always curled her hair for free at the end. Why was I not given the same service for free? I would like my tip back.
I had an amazing first experience at AUBE in Santa Monica. This salon is first-rate — spotless, professional, and welcoming. I got a fantastic haircut from the owner, Yudai, and the shampoo was pure heaven. It had that relaxing, tingly feel (ASMR) and was hands down the best shampoo I’ve ever received. The attention to detail and care here are on another level. Bonus: 90 minutes of free parking right across the street. I can’t wait to go back!
