I had an amazing first experience at AUBE in Santa Monica. This salon is first-rate — spotless, professional, and welcoming. I got a fantastic haircut from the owner, Yudai, and the shampoo was pure heaven. It had that relaxing, tingly feel (ASMR) and was hands down the best shampoo I’ve ever received. The attention to detail and care here are on another level. Bonus: 90 minutes of free parking right across the street. I can’t wait to go back!
Aube is the best salon I’ve been to! Everyone is so kind and they do a great job. I had never loved my haircuts until I started going here. The salon is clean and a relaxing environment. Highly recommend!!
A $100 full service haircut is great for Santa Monica, included a really nice hair wash and conditioning. Takuya was my stylist and he was sooo great! He was very sweet and gave me a beautiful new hairstyle. Would 100% come back for him!
If you're looking for a skilled hairstylist in Santa Monica, I highly recommend Yudai! He gave me an amazing haircut using only scissors — no razor — and kept the length exactly how I wanted. He’s super attentive, listens carefully, and delivers with real precision. I’ll definitely be back for a digital perm next time!
I have had a multitude of bad haircuts in my life that I now get so much anxiety when I try a new salon. Akane listened to everything I requested and was able to accommodate me upon closing time. Akane gave me the best haircut I have ever received in my entire life. And I am not exaggerating. I currently have mid-long length hair so I can’t necessarily go to a barber and everyone else I have gone to likes to charge a very hefty fee and does a very sub-par job.
