Au Gratin is such a cute little spot and definitely worth a visit. We ordered the mac and cheese, the cheese au gratin, and the Tuscan panini with prosciutto and burrata, and everything was delicious. Each dish was rich, cheesy, and really flavorful. If you love comfort food and cheese-focused dishes, this place absolutely delivers. The atmosphere is cozy and charming, which made the whole experience even better. I’d definitely come back.
We ordered the Short Rib Au Jus and the Turkey Gobbler, both were fantastic, new favorite sandwich shop! Great service and a cool little spot to hang and eat!
Au Gratin is pure comfort food perfection. Worth every penny - the quality, flavor, and portions always hit. I always come back to the mac (it literally calls to me), even when I swear I’m going to branch out… though I did stray today and got the turkey & brie panini and it was absolutely epic. Zero regrets. And do not skip the truffle fries. Ever. Non-negotiable. As a Salem local, this is one of those spots I recommend without hesitation when someone wants cozy, indulgent, feel-good food done right. Consistently excellent.
Such a cute spot!! Fabulous art on the walls, great food, and friendly service. Paul is such a doll, and immediately makes you feel like you’re an old friend. He has such great energy! Def recommend this place for a quick lunch. (PS: Great spot for the gays)
One of my favorite casual restaurants in Salem! Love that they have unique options, and vegetarian dishes as well. A little expensive for just a sandwich alone, but great quality.
