My mom and I went here last night for her birthday! A local had recommended to us. The food was excellent, flavorful, delicious! We really enjoyed our time. I will say location wise was a little sketch. On our walk in we passed people yelling in the streets, fighting, etc. once we got there it was fine. Just seemed weird…
We love Au Courant and have been coming for years… this visit we were extremely disappointed. We came for the Oktoberfest tasting menu on Oct. 4. While the food was delicious as usual, the service has gone far downhill and did not match the price nor the reputation that this restaurant has. My husband got the beer pairing with the meal, it came with a card describing the beer with no explanation or personal touch from any server/sommelier… which is fine, but for $50 and 5 small glasses of beer the value just is not there. The service and food were both incredible. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating for my food allergy. I would absolutely recommend!!
