Delivered my daughter and took care of me my entire pregnancy and after. Excellent care!!
Dr. Atwood is very caring and has a great bedside manner. She really understands womens issues and she takes her time to understand and treat your concerns. Her nurse practitioner (Cheryl) is pretty awesome too.
When I moved back to Ohio in 1996 my family doctor referred me to Dr. Atwood and I have been with her every since. I see her annually and I would never go anywhere else. Always professional but at the same time very personable. Yes, there has been times I've waited for a while, but what good doctor's office haven't you? I've never been rushed. I feel very confident with Dr. Atwood.
I adore Dr. Atwood and her team. I feel she always puts me at ease. She has amazing bedside manner. She delivered my first with little issue and I felt I was in great hands. I also am overweight which has been a struggle my whole life, I eat and live very healthy but seem to struggle to keep weight off. She was very willing to consider my concerns of possibly having PCOS. She has never made me feel that my weight was an issue as I have always had great blood work and it's never hindered my life. Dr. Atwood's beside manner is amazing. She always makes me feel calm. She performed the c-section for my first child, and actually made sure to pull my stomach muscles back to where they belong; I didn't deal with any diastasis recti in my recovery. I had the on-call doctor for my second c-section and have noticed a huge difference when this was not done; hoping that if we have a third, Dr. Atwood will be able to deliver my child again!
