My mother told me a horrifying story of when she was a patient of Dr. Atwell of how he had her in stirrups and he left her in the office with her legs up open to the world for at least 10 minutes. No apologies when he returned. How disrespectful! She was so humiliated. Another time he had a lewd response to her description of her concern of a tight vagina her thinking maybe there was a correlation to her recurring urinary tract infection for which he couldn’t successfully treat her. My mother had an appointment with Dr. Atwell, the morning of August 21st, 2023, because she felt like she was getting a Urinary Tract Infection. She gave a urine specimen, then Dr. Atwell examined her. He said you're fine and you can leave. That evening, about 5pm, I spoke to her on the phone and she sounded so sick. Her friend, Klaus was with her. He said she stopped talking but her eyes were opened. I told him to call 911. Can not comment on Dr. Because we never got in to see him. Waited a half hours only one other person in waiting room?? Smoked glass window’s that were closed at counter. Signs saying do not tap on glass. Most unwelcoming office we have ever encountered. Dr need to control his staff, seem the staff runs the office.

Dr Atwell has been treating me for several years and he has been absolutely amazing to me. I have Systemic Lupus and several other autoimmune diseases that affect my bladder causing recurring infections, and a spinal cord injury affecting the bladder. I am blessed to have him in my corner. If you see or read this Dr Atwell, thank you for all these years.

Had an appointment for a month - it was cancelled when I arrived to their office because the doctor "was in surgery", Didn't bother to call me beforehand, told me it was cancelled after I arrived. Had to take off work to do this - so infuriating. Why couldn't they have called me first thing in the morning?!? Because they don't care, that's why.
