I thought my initial appointment with Dr. Atwal was great. He was pretty thorough and explained things well. He told me he suspected hypermobile EDS and ordered genetic testing to rule out other types. At my follow-up appointment (which cost $350), he just told me my testing was negative. When I asked about treatment, the only thing he told me was to exercise more even though I explained exercise intolerance is my worst symptom and that began when I was a dancer working out intensely 15+ hours a week so not exercising enough... read more
