In my opinion, he did what he wanted to do and not what his client wanted. Sent drafts to opposing attorneys without consent. Sometimes went 3-5 weeks without returning calls. For the actual work done, I felt the bills were outrageous. I would not use this man again and will not refer to anyone in need. A very bad relationship.
David J Haskin needs to just stick to being a paid attorney. He works for the State as a Circuit Defender, and from my view on that he is not as helpful and compassionate toward the clients that can not afford him. His only tool with such individuals criminal wise is go to prison. I get why he may feel that is the best solution, I mean why give your all for worthless felons, but if that is his thought maybe he should not help at all.
