Worst experience. Won't set a consultation appt until you've paid $150 without a fee rate or guarantee that you will be represented. Cancelled my consultation appt when I could not pay the $150 until I managed to secure funds without spouse knowledge. Scheduled call the next day - was called 2 hours late like it was nothing and was expected to speak freely - which I could not. Funds delivery were delayed. We were not informed ahead of time that you do not wire funds to lenders for sellers payoffs. This resulted in us having to pay an extra week of interest unnecessarily. Also, We were not told wire instructions we provided in writing weeks ago had to be verified. I was out of town on 11/16 and did not get the call. I hired Shannon Tenney. She was very professional but I did not feel as though my case was important to her. I always felt rushed when on the phone, and she always seemed to tell me that nothing could be done about things. She was not aggressive with the opposing counsel who seemed to drag his feet on things. And her lack of explanation of things has now caused me to pay more money than I would be had I understood what she was signing me up for. I would not recommend this firm to anyone. We had to use Sterling Law for a real esate closing. I cannot recommend this law firm, especially concerning home closings or legal matters involving real estate. There was such a systemic and consistent level of incompetence and apathetic cruelty from each of the firm's employees we were forced to interact with. During the closing, which was scheduled over 45 days, Sterling lawyers and paralegals waited until the last minute on every item they were tasked with doing.
