I want to say that Dr Roodhouse has to be the most compassionate, knowledgeable doctors that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Dr Roodhouse was very informative and took his time to explain everything so I never felt uninformed. I only wish there world was filled with better people as he is. The office staff are very pleasant also. I had 3 prior diverticulitis attacks. My regular doctor would put me on oral antibiotics and that took care of the problem. Good surgeon but not such great bed manners. Came in checked my Dad didn’t seem interested, was a very hurried visit and from my sisters view the after surgery visit was just the same. Come on do better a smile a handshake or just show some interest in the pt. Office didn’t even call back as advised to set surgery date. Called a week &1/2 later and had to CB again the following week to get a date, then they called a couple days before surgery to reschedule an already delayed surgery that was causing much pain and discomfort ... read more
Dr. Statman and ALL his staff are wonderful, caring and really great at what they do!
I want to thank Dr. Starman for doing my galbladder surgery yesterday 2/17/22. I'm grateful he listened to me about what I was experiencing and was as adamant as I was about doing the surgery. From the first time we met through the actual surgery was a good experience. Everyone at sturdy from the moment I walked in was kind and in good spirits. The whole process was great. I thank Dr. Statman and ALL the nurses at day surgery for this experience. I am on day 2 and healing up well.
Good luck with dealing with the Receptionists. Every time I’ve called—and I’ve talked to 3 people—not only have they been cold and unhelpful, but it feels like they are doing it intentionally. They act like they have zero interest in helping patients, or they are all miserable.
