I had finally mustered up the courage to try a silk press after being natural (and heat free) for about 7 years,. There was no way I was going to attempt this myself, with my BSL 4B/4C mane. I expressed all of my questions and concerns ( being somewhat paranoid about heat damage) and she was extremely patient and provided helpful information . If you want professional service and an expert weave do not go to this place. While it is aesthetically pleasing, I haven’t had service this bad since I had my first weave done by a lady in the projects. I arrived at the shop for an 8 am appointment and left around 12:30 pm looking a hot sizzling mess. I waisted $180 on the stylist and $60 worth of hair to look like a clown with a bad weave and an even worse, uneven haircut.
