The folks at Atticare in the Bay Area were great to work with! They installed a whole house fan in my home to help decrease the heat in my home during the Summer months. They were very reliable, prompt, and professional. Can't wait to use my fan this Summer!!
Updating my previous review. I had Atticare out to insulate, clean, and sanitize my attic. There were some issues with the job: they put a screw through some romex and I lost the lights in the lower part of my home, the vents in the attic were blocked so it began overheating, and some parts weren't insulated as I was told they would be by their sales rep. Avoid this company. I hired them to clean, sanitize, and install insulation in my attic. They quoted a slightly higher price than competitors but I figured it would be worth it because they offer more services. I was wrong. Their rep Ashton was friendly and got the job set up quickly, but once I signed their contract he wouldn't answer any more questions. No responses to email or phone calls. Highly recommend Atticare and their services. We had Samual come to the house and look at our crawl space and attic. Both had not been touched since the house was originally built in 1976. Now not only not energy efficient but dangerously out of code. He was incredibly professional, arriving on time and gave detailed inspection with a very competitive quote! Work orders, receipts, and contracts were incomplete and did not document the extent of work. The one year warranty is too convenient for them, and if their work causes issues down the road, plausible deniability is their defense.
