Helpful and always available
Terrible experience with appointments running behind schedule. I was told to arrive at 3:55pm and it’s already 5pm and I still haven’t been seen. Very disappointing. This isn’t the first time this has happened to me here either.
I called Peabody Atrius Health to find out if they had “Urgent Care”. I was told they did by appointment with my primary care. That is not urgent care to me. I said “I can’t walk in and get seen by someone?” She said “no, it’s by appointment.” What is the use in having an Atrius facility if you can’t walk in? I’m not talking Emergency rooom. I live in Peabody and my Primary is at Atrius in Beverly. She is not available at the moment. This system is crazy, so I will go to another urgent care other than an Atrius facility.
Normally I’ve been satisfied with the care here but not this time. Following a visit to a NP I requested a call back regarding a prescription request for ongoing chest congestion. They said a nurse would return my call. I called again later the same day and was again told I should expect a call back. Well, here it is two full days later still no call back. Very disappointing. Not good care.
