Absolutely DISGUSTING experience. Do NOT go to this hospital. There is a CREEP of a man walking around in scrubs, acting like staff — and somehow, they let him roam freely. I came in early one morning, just TWO DAYS POSTPARTUM, in pain, vulnerable, and needing a simple procedure. I took my sister Friday after a 4 wheeler accident. She was in a lot of pain, thinking her ribs were broken and her elbow was swollen very badly. We were seen by Angela Johnson MD. She offered Tylenol and ibuprofen which my sister had already taken and of course it wasn’t helping but they wouldn’t give anything else. They did X-rays, came back and said nothing was broken, just bruised badly and she was discharged. Crying and in pain all weekend, she couldn’t take it anymore. If possible,Waxhaw is my choice for health needs! The ultrasound technologist, Karen, is fantastic, as is the ER team!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The waiting room was very clean and comfortable. As soon as I walked in, I felt safe with the security guard there; he was reading it looking at something on his desk but was very alert and aware of what was going on. I was called back, taken care of, and discharged as swiftly as possible with all my concerns and issues addressed.
