I had some memory concerns , so my neurologist referred my to this dept having never been to any form of psychological treatment I was apprehensive to say the least. These folks took good care of me and turned it in to a very positive experience
This was my second visit. I have a family history of dementia. As with the first visit, I was impressed that my Dr actually read his notes from my previous visit, listened to me, wasn’t in a hurry to whisk me off to the next room, he heard my concerns and made me feel validated. The testing was comfortable, friendly, even funny at times. To laugh together helped me relax. I will be going back to stay on top of any changes.
All staff and doctors are amazing and they all show compassion and understanding 💜
