We have been generally satisfied with practice and office staff. The young woman that conducts the hearing screenings is outstanding. The center’s surgical scheduler has been an absolute nightmare. She is inflexible, obstinate, and shows no empathy for patients. If I was not so concerned for my son’s hearing we would be changing practices due to her inhospitable and unhelpful behavior.
Not sure about the negative reviews because this place was amazing! Our 1yo had to have tubes put in and from the time we checked in til the time of discharge, we were all treated so kindly. The receptionist, nurses and doctors all went out of their way to make sure our son was happy and healthy. We couldn’t be more appreciative!
If I could leave zero stars I would... and this is for Atrium Health as a whole. It is always a pain to try to get a sick appointment for my son with his pediatrician, therefore forcing me to go to urgent care. The only good thing I can say about any atrium facility is the maternity floor team took excellent care of me while I was having my son and the Levine children's urgent care in monroe is always phenomenal with my son. Had a septoplasty/turbinate reduction 10/04 everything went well regarding my nose. I developed a debilitating sore throat as a result of the breathing tube. The pain was so severe that swallowing was not an option and as a result I lost 15 pounds the week following the surgery. I had to be placed on a course of prednisone to deal with the sore throat and pain. It seemed to work for a day and then more severe pain in back of tongue/throat area.
