I have a burn on my hand from a hot pan 🍳 at work. It burned up under a callous, so I didn't notice it for 2 days, I wasn't sure if it was a burn, a bite, or a splinter. I had been up all night with pain, ( I wasn't going for pain meds, bc I am a Suboxone Patient. ) so I was just in need of antibiotics . THE ONLY THING HE DID WAS TAKE A PHOTO TO SEND TO BURN UNIT. I arrived there about 1:20pm. By 1:40 blood was drawn and a IV was put in my left arm. I was sent back into the ER waiting room to wait for a vaginal ultrasound still with the IV in my arm. I waited about 2 hours. Got the vaginal ultrasound. Was back in the ER waiting room where I waited another 2 hours to be called back to Room 7. By this time I still wasn’t giving anything for pain.
