Great potential and plenty of room but lacked a good clean and some serious maintenance issues. We stayed 2 nights in a dog friendly unit with easy checkin. Great location. The garage door remote was missing, so we were told to open it manually from the inside. This was not a good plan as there are no handles, sharp metal edges and pinch points. Unsafe. 2nd time staying at Articom and was very very disappointed this visit. Pros: very comfortable beds, clean towels, pet friendly, hot water. Cons: one shower head completely broken, had to hold up with one arm to shower, cobwebs and spiders in all rooms, reverse cycle air conditioner in lounge area useless for size of area, broken frying pans, no oven trays, international roast coffee sachets, walls require a repaint (there are only so many times you can touch up a wall), no lock in toilet, no curtains in one bedroom, no inter... read more

We enjoyed it. Check in was super easy and communication was great! I think after ten hot drinks the taste of the ants in the Kettle that I had to clean out finally disappeared 😅. One bedroom door doesn't close and there's a light bulb that doesn't work. But we loved the decor and the generous seating. We cooked dinner and had everything we needed. We walked to town for breakfast and aldi was just down the road. Plenty of space for the kids and I was able to do all our washing before we left too which was great!
