RecommendedMoving my parents from their home of 65 years in Queens to the Atria South Setauket was no easy decision. It had to be done they were no longer safe. Well it was the best decision ever made. The Atria is outstanding. I can not say enough about how wonderful life is for all since they’ve moved. First of all the food is what you would expect st a restaurant. David runs one spectacular kitchen. Kelly and Josephine make sure everyone is comfortable and well cared for. My Mom is coming up on her 1 year anniversary at the Atria. Looking back, we were so nervous, apprehensive and questioned if we were making the right choice. We now know that we 100% made the right choice. Mom is happy, active and made many friends! Also this was the first time during a blizzard we did not have to worry if Mom would be ok. Not only was she ok the Atria planned special activities to keep the snowed in residents busy. What was the scariest time in our lives ended up being the biggest blessing.
