BEWARE OF MEMORY CARE!! Absolutely NOT a place where people that need help should go. Leaving someone in their room for 12 hours alone and not checking in on them once is terrible! Expressed concerns are blown off even with medical documentation. I will be talking to the DPOA to see if they will be filing a complaint with the state.
They are HORRIBLE!!! They killed my mother. The nurse was fired afterwards but she was directly responsible for my mother's death. The director is so ineffectual and no one respects him. The staff does whatever they want. My mom was healthy, only high blood pressure and she would get reaccuring UTI's. They were supposed to test her every 4 weeks.The nurse lied to us and told us she checked....and no one ever checked her .. there is no one at all who looks over the residents. Our mom had been a resident at Enclave of Newell Creek in the Assisted Living and Memory Care community in Mentor, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the care she received. The staff is friendly, caring, and professional, and they truly took great care of our mom. We were so happy to find such a wonderful, safe, and clean place for her.
