Took my 93 yr old mom to see Dr. Zhang today. We were both very impressed with his professionalism and knowledge of caring for a geriatric patient. It was the first time in years her blood pressure did not rise at a Dr. visit. This was due to Dr. Zhang taking the time to listen to her and ask her relevant questions. From my experience, the medical staff are great. Some of the individuals at the front desk can be unprofessional, rude and incompetent.
Our family has been seeing Dr Childers for years and there is no one we trust more. She has been a wonderful support, a safe place, and is a wealth of knowledge. As a mom to special needs kids, her level of care and compassion makes visiting the doctor a look-forward-to event. She has always taken time with us, to listen to concerns, troubleshoot and brainstorm, order tests and give referrals to give us the necessary support. This is the second disappointing experience I have had with astra care. I feel like the staff does not actually care, the providers there are seemingly lazy and do not wish to do even the smallest of jobs. I requested a tele-health appointment over a toothache which is being treated by an endodontist but this weekend the pain became untreatable with over the counter medication.
