A Neighborhood restaurant to come home to – Ever since our favorite Italian restaurant in Ballwin closed and we moved to the city, we've been searching for anothr "our place." And here it is, within walking distance from our townhouse on Delmar. We stopped in for dinner after walking to a concert at the Art Museum, and after a short wait, attended frequently by the owner, we had a light dinner: an appetizer, a salad, and an excellent glass of wine from their impressive well-chosen wine list. I tried the crab cake which was delicate and my main course was the pork chop which was prepared wonderfully with apples and potatoes. My fr... read more

This intimate and surprisingly inexpensive French-Italian bistro successfully updates conventional favorites. – The Scene Smart, modern modifications on comfortable mainstays characterize the experience at this surprising and popular eatery. 50's era jazz wafts through the dining room and complements, rather than contradicts, the updated sleekness of the décor. Angular white walls and art deco glass accent the cozy, pleasant dining space. Affable servers keep an eye on the upscale yet unpretentious clientele. The Food Wine l... read more
