Cooling was great downstairs but poor upstairs. Technician installed a zone damper and booster fan. Now both floors are equally comfortable.
Heat stopped on extremely cold mornings. Outside air sensor failed. Replaced with new sensor and furnace now works reliably regardless of temperature.
Thermostat lights flickered randomly. Found intermittent ground wire. Repaired connection and display is now steady.
Heating worked but sounded like a jet engine. Found motor mount cracked. Replaced and sound disappeared completely.
Cooling would trigger but fan stayed off. Fan relay failed. Replaced it and unit now operates as designed.
