We have been going here for over 20 plus years now, and they are not how they use to be, the PA is a very pushy non friendly person, last time I was in he tried to force more meds on me & when I told him I was having heartburn and pressure around my stomach area, his answer was take over the counter meds, come to find out from another doctor I had an ulcer and was given meds which helped me get thru it, and just recently my son went in for labs and was treated very rudely and when he asked for them to check testosterone leve... read more

This review has nothing to do with the Good Doctor, but rather the staff that checks you in. I was there yesterday(8/14/17) at 7:30am, the second person to sign in. I was there, like most others, for routine blood work. I had showed the woman behind the counter my insurance card, she made a copy and I was told it wouldn't be very long. Numerous people had checked in after me and were now going in ahead of me. This grew to a number over ten, and some 40 minutes later, I asked what was going on. Dr Vigil is a very thorough doctor. He listens to his patients and he is more patient oriented. He is truly concerned about his patients. Results of lab work and other tests are given in a timely fashion. Dr. Vigil was my doctor before and my insurance had changed but now I am back with him again as my insurance changed and I'm very happy.
I am a 65 year old male and have been under Dr. Derek Vigils care now since May 2012 and have never found a Doctor like him. He is truly concerned about his patients and listens to us describe our situations to him then prescribes the best treatment you can get anywhere. His professionalism in his practice is 100%. Before leaving each visit you are asked by Dr. Vigil is you have other problems to discuss.
