I want to add an important update regarding the treatment that was recommended for my child’s chipped tooth. After our visit at Atlantis, we decided to seek a second opinion. The second dentist performed a proper evaluation and discovered that the tooth had nerve damage and had already lost sensation. Because of this, the correct treatment is a root canal first, followed by repairing the tooth. This raises a serious question: why was this not checked during our visit with Dr. Jenny? Dr. Jenny is wonderful, but the scheduling and wait times are extremely frustrating and show a lack of respect for patients’ time. Our appointment was at 2:00 pm. The doctor arrived at 2:27 pm and examined my child for about 10–15 minutes. We were told the treatment would take about 30 minutes, so we agreed to proceed. Numbing cream was applied, but then we were repeatedly left waiting while the doctor treated other patients.
