Spent $4200 on John Deere X380 with 4yr or 300 hr warranty. When actuator for mulcher stopped working was charged $250 because wire had worn against belt on deck. Tech told me he had rerouted wire and installed new actuator. Counter person told "of course it wasn't covered by warranty". Tractor was less than 2 years old and had 87 hrs. Called John Deere and was told they couldn't do anything or review because I had already paid bill. Wow, seemed like a good selection of lawn equipment available. I looked at a used lawn tractor on the site that was listed with 150 hours. talked to the sales staff several times even specifically mentioning the 150 hours. So I took an hour drive to see the tractor and the hour meter says 230 hours, they made some excuse about the ad being wrong. I was disappointed with the bait and switch.
Pete and Dave struggled through installing some new accessories for the first time, with manufacturer sending the wrong parts, but they kept right on it getting it done right and for the price they quoted. They have always treated me fairly. Thanks for a job well done!

Poor Customer Service. The big fella in the shop I believe his name was Matt told me he was a "Master Mechanic." He is way off, you can count on having your tractor worked on several times before it is ever repaired. He is clueless when it comes to machinery.
