We have just had 6 days there & location to Glenelg is very good also free onsite parking a bonus. The gentleman on front reception when he was there was polite but mostly front desk was unattended.. Room was very disappointing....paint peeling off the ceiling in the bathroom...the air conditioner leaked on to the carpet. Was there 5 days before saw room attendant asked her if she would be doing room service was told had to ask if needed....hubby put a sign on the door to do our room which was removed. This hotel has seen better days, but the view can't be seen from anywhere even remotely in its price range. Unfortunately there were some issues with my room. The carpet was very wet right next to the bed and so it was musty and I got wet socks getting out of bed. It's likely it was from the aircon unit but nonetheless it's not what I'd expect. Great location at Atlantic Tower Motor Inn but it's very obvious the place is dated. Still get a good night sleep but you can't help feel it's stuck from a few decades ago. Rooms - Adequate for your stay but the interior lacks the new and modern features of more newer hotels Nearby Activities - Restaurants, transports, beach and Glenelg's shopping district are all nearby Safety - Very safe walking around but practice caution when the sun goes down.
