I hired Dr. Olsen and Atlantic Smiles in Fernandina Beach, Fl. to provide permanent implant supported dentures. After having the implants installed by Dr. Field at Amelia Island Periodontics done successfully, Dr. Olsen started what was estimated to be a 6 to 9 month process of creating the permanent dentures. I had a crown fall out, and my dentist was out of town for an entire week. Atlantic Smiles offered me an appt the same day I called them, which I took. I was very pleased with their service from the reception to the dental assistant and the dentist. Dr. Al-Eid took the time to explain to me all aspects of my treatment. She further identified an issue with another tooth for me to bring to the attention of my permanent dentist. I have zero smiles for Atlantic Smiles. I made an appointment weeks ago for an exam and cleaning. Marie left a message today to return the call about my appointment tomorrow at 1pm. I called back just 18 minutes later and was told that Marie has already left for the day. After some difficulty finding me in their computer I was told that my appointment had been changed to 9am. I replied that I had a different appointment in the morning and needed to keep the 1pm. I was told that they could see me at 9am or not at all.
