ER visit in March at memorial. Today I get a notice from the group they contract with (not me) that I will be reported to a credit agency next week unless I pay in full today. He said the claim had been denied. I asked for the denial code. He referred me to the billing team. They said they had not submitted a claim and they needed me to get a po box and auth number. Uh... I had a CT in August 2025. Atlantic Radiology Associates, LLC did not process my insurance or send a bill to me until February 24, 2026, significantly after the contracted 90 days that they have an agreement with my insurance company. When they sent a bill, they indicated that it was already past due, even though they just processed it. Their app for payment does not work because they are not a listed provider, and the website for payment does not work because it is a broken link. Their customer service stinks. Dishonest place. We self-paid for a service in cash and have a receipt on 12/9. We received a bill sent on 12/17 for the full amount. This is an unethical and dishonest practice by Atlantic Radiology Associates to get paid more. It is common for many medical practices to do this and they won't stop because people continue to pay.
