Carefree Movers was subcontracted by Atlantic Movers in August 2022 to move my furnishings from Phoenix, Arizona to Ohio. I signed a binding estimate contract with Atlantic Movers and the day of my move, someone from Carefree Movers called me stating that they would be moving me and I had to pay more money if I wanted to move that day. A long story. I was scammed by them and it's still not over yet. A little piece of the story: I thought they were the moving company. Turned out the are brokers. They hired a moving company to move my furniture and didn't get a call from them until the day I had to be out of my home and was charged about $5000 more then their binding estimate. Atlantic Moving made my relocation stress-free. Mitchell, the customer service representative I interacted with, was knowledgable, polite, and cooperative, and their support team responded quickly to my questions. The movers were really skilled at placing my belongings exactly where I wanted them. Just amazing!!
I have to relocate for work around once a year, and this would be my second time working with this organisation. They did a great job, just like the last time. My belongings arrived in Johns Creek, Georgia, from Frisco, Texas, in about 3 days! Drivers arrived before me, so I asked my realtor to receive the delivery on my behalf.
